Poshmark's fee on a US sale, what you earn and the profit after your item cost.
Sales under $15 pay a flat $2.95
On a $10 sale that's almost 30% of the price, so cheap items cost the most in relative terms.
Sales of $15 or more pay 20%
You keep 80% of the sale. A $40 sale pays $8.00 and you earn $32.00.
The buyer pays a flat $6.49 for shipping
Poshmark emails you a prepaid USPS label. If you offered a shipping discount, the part you cover comes out of your earnings.
Your cost decides the profit
Subtract what you paid for the item from your earnings to see what the sale made.
Worked example. A $40.00 sale pays Poshmark 20%, or $8.00, so you earn $32.00. After a $12.00 item cost you keep $20.00. Below $14.95 the same item loses money.

How much does Poshmark take from a sale?
In the US, a flat $2.95 on sales under $15 and 20% on sales of $15 or more, so you keep 80%. A $40 sale costs $8.00. A $14 sale costs $2.95, about 21% of the price.
Does Poshmark take fees from shipping?
No. The buyer pays for the prepaid label and Poshmark's fee is worked out on the sale price only. A shipping discount you offer does reduce your earnings.
How much is Poshmark shipping?
A flat $6.49 per order, paid by the buyer, sent by USPS Ground Advantage. A bundle from one closet ships for one $6.49 fee if the package is 5 lbs or less; over that, the seller pays the overweight cost.
Is it better to bundle items on Poshmark?
Often, yes. Three $8 sales pay $2.95 each, $8.85 in total; one $24 bundle pays 20%, or $4.80.
When do I get paid on Poshmark?
Poshmark releases the money to your account within 3 days of delivery. If the buyer does not accept the order in that time, it is marked received automatically and the funds are released.
Do Texas sellers pay an extra Poshmark fee?
Yes. Since 1 Oct 2025, sellers with a Texas return address pay Texas sales tax on 80% of Poshmark's fee. At an 8.25% combined rate, a $100 sale has a $20 fee and $1.32 tax ($16 × 8.25%). This calculator does not include it.
Why is my real Poshmark fee different?
Fees outside the US differ, and promotions, seller-paid shipping discounts and the Texas fee tax change your earnings. Edit the fields to match your sale.
